This is one of those rare things that does exactly what it says on the tin. From a business point of view we saw this as a bit of a no-brainer because you get to try the system without having to commit to a 12 or 18 month term. You get a taste of what the website will bring you and, if you so wanted, you can walk away at any point. Having said that, you'd be mad to do so because, and as we will happily testify, the calls that come through are genuine customers looking for someone to do work for them and many of them convert into paying customers. In short, for us the Per Call website has been nothing shy of awesome.

We were quite intrigued when Per Call first explained the concept of their 'pay per call' business to us, so were quite keen to get involved. Since we took the site on our business has expanded considerably. Not only is this down to some natural growth as our company's reputation grows in the area, but also due to the sizeable response we get from the Per Call web site. On average we get around 35 unique calls or emails per month from Per Call, with approximately 60% of those enquiries leading to business.

We get so many sales calls from so many people, all of which seem to be offering the 'best thing ever', that most of them get told 'no thanks' straight away. With Per Call we thought the idea was good, largely because we had nothing to pay up front and nothing to pay if it was unsuccessful. I'm so glad that we took the site on because it's been excellent at generating a steady flow of calls for us. I'd even go as far as to say that it's kept us busy through the traditionally slower months.

We did have our own website, but because we really didn't know what we were doing it rarely brought us any work. Once we learned about Per Call we thought we would give it a go – not least because we would get a new, substantial and professionally written site. The enquiries we get are genuine, of high quality and plenty of work is coming off the Per Call website and, as such, we're making good money from it.

For anyone wanting to generate new business these days, there's little argument that the Internet is the place to be; but like all things, unless you know what you're doing, websites can be an expensive waste of money. With the Per Call website the results we get are totally measurable, so we can see exactly what we get for the money we pay – and we only pay for what we get. The amount of calls coming through is impressive and increasing each day, but better still, we're able to listen to the calls to gauge conversion rates and that's a wonderful tool to help us to improve how staff answer the phone and deal with customers.
